Responsibilities
  • Serve as the overall account lead and single point of contact for numerous large named accounts in an assigned country, geographic territory, or industry.
  • Understand clients' business and information-technology challenges and requirements while driving client value and maximizing company revenue and margin.
  • Develop account plans and a long-term sales pipeline to increase market share.
  • Manage larger deals, opportunities, and value or volume portfolios while selling company products and solutions.
  • Work with management to develop future business plans and independently determine methods for achieving them.
  • Work with external partners and build professional relationships with key information-technology and business executives, including C-level executives.
  • Apply consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that generate profitable revenue growth.
  • Advocate for client needs when negotiating solution sales and troubleshooting delivery issues.
  • Develop business plans in conjunction with customers.
  • Analyze client-industry and competitive research to facilitate client dialogue.
  • Manage accounts to protect and grow company business, including coordinating account forecasts, planning, and reporting.
  • Direct and coordinate all activity on assigned accounts.
  • Generate new business and build, monitor, and manage sales-pipeline activity.
  • Achieve and manage quarterly, half-yearly, and annual quotas and/or margin.
  • Enter all opportunities in the pipeline tool and update them weekly.
  • Build a list of customers willing to serve as references in person or in print.
  • Implement margin-recovery activities and strategies.
  • Act as the first interface for international accounts in collaboration with global and local business teams.
  • Identify customer requirements, match them with company capabilities, and select the appropriate company supply chain.
  • Work across platforms and specialties.

BofA keeps buy rating on HPE stock ahead of Sept. 30 investor day, sees 40% upside

Bank of America has reiterated its buy rating on Hewlett Packard Enterprise ahead of the company's networking investor day on 30 September. Analyst Wamsi Mohan maintained an $88 price target, representing roughly 40% upside from recent levels. HPE shares have more than doubled this year following the company's $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks in July. The deal transformed networking into HPE's fastest-growing segment, with third-quarter networking revenue jumping 74.9% to $2.9 billion. Bank of America expects the data centre networking market to grow about 40% annually through 2030, up from HPE's earlier 15% estimate. The firm projects HPE's networking revenue will compound at 15% to 20% yearly. However, BofA's model shows free cash flow potentially dipping to $2.75 billion in fiscal 2028 as capital spending rises sharply.

HPE shares surge 4.5% on $1.2B Vultr AI deal and raised networking outlook

Hewlett Packard Enterprise shares jumped 4.5% on Wednesday after announcing a $1.2 billion AI systems deal with cloud provider Vultr and raising its networking revenue outlook. The agreement marks the first major order for AMD Helios AI Rack by HPE systems, which will be deployed across Vultr's US data centres. Each rack will integrate 72 AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs alongside HPE's purpose-built switching technology to support Vultr's AI cloud services. HPE also increased its fiscal 2027 networking revenue growth forecast to the high-teens to low-20s percentage range. The company projects data centre networking revenue will grow at a compound annual rate in the 50% range through fiscal 2029, whilst routing revenue is expected to increase in the low-to-high 20s range over the same period.

HPE lands first $1.2B AMD Helios order from Vultr to expand AI infrastructure

HPE shares rose over 4% in premarket trading Wednesday after announcing a $1.2 billion order from Vultr for AMD Helios AI Rack systems. The deal marks HPE's first order for the new AMD Helios system and will deploy the infrastructure across Vultr's US data centres. HPE is supplying networking infrastructure, liquid cooling, and deployment services for the systems. Each AMD Helios rack combines 72 AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs with AMD EPYC CPUs and networking cards. The order extends HPE's relationship with Vultr and Juniper Networks following HPE's 2025 acquisition of Juniper. Vultr CEO J.J. Kardwell said demand for high-performance AI infrastructure "continues to outpace available capacity." HPE stock has gained over 150% this year.

QuEra partners with HPE to integrate fault-tolerant quantum computing with on-premises HPC environments

QuEra Computing has partnered with HPE to integrate neutral-atom fault-tolerant quantum computing with on-premises high-performance computing environments powered by the HPE Cray supercomputing platform. The collaboration targets HPC centres, national laboratories, and enterprises. The partnership aligns with the US Department of Energy's Genesis Mission, which combines AI, supercomputing, quantum systems, and scientific instruments. QuEra and HPE will pursue integrated testbeds, hybrid algorithm co-design, and software interoperability. QuEra now offers two deployment routes: on-premises through HPE for sovereign workloads, and cloud access through a major cloud provider. Dell, Super Micro and HPE: AI server makers with strong buy ratings and surging demand
