Requirements
  • One to two years of sales experience.
  • Experience with budgeting, sales, and marketing.
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • A comprehensive understanding of hemp, ready-to-drink, low-alcohol, and no-alcohol brands, including category knowledge, basic production, and service.
  • Ability to adapt and assist a variety of internal customer groups and work with varying personality types.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Ability to create and sell innovative ideas.
  • Ability to work with limited direction or supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to participate in business meetings, company initiatives, and events upon request.
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Leadership capabilities, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in fact-based selling and analysis of syndicated consumer data, including IRI and Nielsen.
  • Basic brand marketing and finance skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
  • Sell the THC hemp beverage portfolio and deliver brand-level volume and profitability objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate hemp, ready-to-drink, low-alcohol, and no-alcohol brand strategies.
  • Increase the quality and quantity of accepted innovative business-building proposals.
  • Manage cold boxes and category management activities.
  • Apply market, product, and consumer information to generate brand- and volume-building activities.
  • Become a trusted advisor by participating in customer planning processes, obtaining preferred supplier status, and delivering against account goals and opportunities.
  • Set goals, measure performance, evaluate results, and adapt to changes.
  • Identify and adopt key account management best practices.
  • Lead annual plans for key accounts that reflect agreed brand and customer strategies and support business goals.
  • Communicate market, brand, consumer, trend, and best-practice developments inside and outside the category or industry.
  • Influence sales teams to develop account-specific programs aligned with brand strategies and local consumer insights.
  • Recommend account-specific brand and volume mix targets.
  • Oversee account performance and implement corrective business-building actions.
  • Participate in strategy briefing sessions and provide feedback on execution and program effectiveness.
  • Ensure delivery of category management guidelines and principles for strategic accounts.
  • Set and achieve key performance indicators, including depletions, distribution, advertisements, displays, features, shelf execution, digital posts, menu placement, well and house pours, point-of-sale materials, and permanent signage.
  • Build relationships with buyers for key accounts.
  • Prepare weekly pre-plans, recaps, account activities, and business reviews.
  • Achieve hemp beverage sales, distribution, and monthly key performance indicator goals.
  • Communicate and manage targets with managers on key priorities.
  • Conduct weekly target check-ins, business reviews, and opportunity discussions.
  • Participate in supplier and key account manager ride-alongs.
  • Present updates at weekly team meetings and attend events.
  • Manage a core list of off-premise accounts and a geographic area for the brand portfolio.
  • Activate hemp, ready-to-drink, low-alcohol, and no-alcohol brand marketing programs.
  • Execute retail controllables and brand standards at L3F.
  • Conduct account audits and assess and implement account needs.
  • Conduct consumer sampling, staff education, and digital posts.
