The role
Lead and manage the Fleet Servicing and Maintenance team, ensuring efficient and effective operation in alignment with the company’s goals
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of the location and status of each vehicle in the fleet
- Manage the process of integrating vehicles into the in-service fleet, including overseeing necessary preparations and checks
- Implement and manage a robust version control system for each vehicle, tracking upgrades and modifications
- Implement and oversee robust processes for tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency and service quality
- Develop and maintain a strong focus on Health and Safety (H&S) awareness, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards
- Foster a customer-centric approach within the team, ensuring that all projects and initiatives are aligned with customer needs and expectations
- Liaise with the leadership team and external partners, confidently presenting progress reports, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate closely with other departments to align R&D activities with overall company objectives, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies and innovations
- Drive continuous learning and development within the team, encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing
About you
In order to set you up for success as a Fleet Service Manager at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.
Essential
- Proven experience as a Service Manager in a dealership or a similar role in an automotive/technology environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for efficiency and detail
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety protocols and regulations
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable in dealing with leadership and external stakeholders
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to align R&D activities with customer needs and business objectives
Desirable
- A passion for AI and/or ADAS technology and innovation
