Responsibilities
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the company’s general ledger and support timely, compliant financial reporting.
  • Own journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis, and contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Work with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Financial Planning and Analysis to ensure complete and accurate financial records in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, company accounting policies, and internal control requirements.
  • Prepare and post standard and adjusting journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, reclasses, and allocations.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with the close calendar.
  • Maintain accurate balances across general ledger accounts and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Manage fixed assets and intangible assets, including capitalization, depreciation, amortization, and disposals.
  • Manage prepaids, accruals, goods receipt/invoice receipt, leasing, and operating expense accounts.
  • Lead intercompany invoice posting, variance analysis, and reconciliation of all intercompany balances.
  • Perform goods receipt/invoice receipt clearing three times per month.
  • Support transfer pricing calculations and distributor stock rotation accounting.
  • Support the periodic fixed assets review process, track fixed asset email requests received in the inbox, and coordinate asset information updates in SAP.
  • Perform variance analysis versus the prior period, and investigate and explain fluctuations.
  • Assist with cash, net debt, and working capital analysis as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation standards.
  • Support external audits, internal audits, and statutory reporting by providing schedules and explanations.
  • Participate in process reviews to strengthen controls and improve close efficiency.
  • Prepare and review postings in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within Record-to-Report.
  • Assist with system enhancements, new account setup, and master data maintenance as required.
  • Use artificial intelligence to improve processes and efficiency.

Compact 60W and 150W DC-DC converters that simplify the design and power supply of BF and CF medical equipment. 22 September 2026 XP Power introduces its QAM60T and HBM150C series medical DC-DC converters, delivering 60W and 150W respectively in compact, standard-size brick form factors. Designed for BF and CF-rated medical equipment, these new converters provide reliable power conversion that efficiently utilizes space in increasingly size- and power-constrained applications such as patient monitoring, diagnostic imaging systems, patient treatment equipment, surgical systems, and robotics. Both series have worldwide valid medical certifications and meet IEC60601-1 requirements with 2 x MOPP and 5kVAC isolation between input and output, simplifying regulatory compliance and integration into patient-connected medical equipment. Ultra-low leakage current to the patient facilitates integration into patient-connected equipment, while high efficiency minimizes power losses and heat generation. Baseboard cooling simplifies thermal management, requires less cooling, and provides reliable operation in small form factor devices. With external components, the converters meet Class A conducted and radiated emissions requirements according to EN 55032 / EN 55011. Remote power-on/power-off, remote sensing, and output voltage adjustment increase system flexibility, while overvoltage, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection safeguard the converter and the end application. For space-constrained systems requiring flexibility with various DC power architectures, the 60W QAM60T stands out with its wide 4:1 input range of 9 to 36VDC in a compact quarter-brick form factor. The series offers single outputs of 5VDC, 12VDC, 15VDC, and 24VDC, as well as models with dual outputs of +/-12VDC and +/-15VDC. A patient leakage current of 4,5μA makes the QAM60T particularly suitable for CF-rated patient-connected medical devices. Its efficiency of up to 93,5% minimizes power losses and heat generation, while its operating temperature range of -40 to +105°C allows for use in demanding thermal environments. For applications requiring higher power, the 150W HBM150C offers a 2:1 input range of 18 to 36VDC with single 12VDC, 15VDC, and 24VDC outputs in a standard half-brick form factor. Patient leakage current is less than 10μA, enabling designers to supply more power to CF-rated equipment connected to patients. With an efficiency of up to 91,5% and an operating temperature range of -40 to +100°C, the HBM150C provides a compact and thermally efficient solution for demanding medical systems. The QAM60T and HBM150C are also suitable for industrial robotics, process control, telecommunications, distributed power architectures, and battery-powered equipment that require small size, high insulation, and reliable thermal performance. XP Power H1 orders jump 55% as semiconductor demand surges, adjusted operating profit climbs 23%

XP Power reported first-half order intake of £167.2 million, up almost 55% year-over-year at constant currency and 48% sequentially. Revenue rose 2% at constant currency to £109.1 million, though growth was constrained by expired US export licences for RF sales into China. Chief Executive Gavin Griggs said recovery was broad-based across sectors and regions, with semiconductor manufacturing equipment particularly strong. Adjusted gross margin increased 450 basis points to 45.9%, reflecting factory closure in China, restructuring, and improved pricing. Adjusted operating profit rose 23% at constant currency to £8.6 million. Adjusted diluted earnings per share increased to £0.142 from £0.004 a year earlier. Semiconductor manufacturing equipment orders increased 116%, producing a record book-to-bill ratio of 1.81 for the sector.

Designed for cost-sensitive industrial technology applications, the series provides a versatile, reliable, and easy-to-integrate platform for engineers developing industrial automation, security and surveillance systems, lighting control, smart home and building control equipment. The LBA series combines compact form factors with robust performance, offering regulated single output voltages from 5V to 48VDC (model dependent) with output adjustment capability to compensate for system tolerances or voltage drops. This output voltage trim allows engineers to ensure accurate voltage delivery at the point of load and improve overall system performance and reliability. A universal 90 to 264VAC input range and active PFC support efficient and flexible operation across global applications. XP Power welcomes appeals court reversing verdict in Comet case. Wed, 15th Jul 2026 10:10 (Alliance News) - XP Power Ltd on Wednesday said a US appeals court reversed a verdict of a trade secret case with Comet Holding AG, sending the matter for retrial. The US Court of Appeals reversed a 2022 District Court ruling, meaning USD40 million in compensatory and punitive damages, as well as over USD17 million in attorney fees XP Power had been due to pay has been vacated. XP Power noted and welcomed the Tuesday decision. "The cash for these awards is currently held outside the group in a bond lodged with the District Court," the Singapore-based maker of power control systems said. "The group will continue to defend its position." Comet had filed a lawsuit in the US against XP Power, alleging trade secret misappropriation relating to radio frequency match and generator technology. XP Power launches advanced mass spectrometry power supplies. XP Power has announced the release of its application-specific Mass Spectrometry power supplies, the MS Source and MS Detector power platforms. The launch of these power supplies responds directly to the increasing need for high resolution, high throughput molecular analysis driven by the expansion of clinical diagnostics, such as newborn screening and oncology, rapid growth in biotech R&D, including drug discovery and genomics for precision medicine, as well as rising regulatory requirements. As mass spectrometry instruments have evolved, users are increasingly demanding highly repeatable results over extended 16-hour back-to-back work shifts, and higher throughputs. In addition, run-to-run and instrument-to-instrument consistency is now expected across different labs, operators, and deployments not just within a single optimised system. Both the MS Source and MS Detector series share a robust set of core features designed to simplify integration and guarantee reliable performance. Operating from a standard +24VDC input, both compact, chassis-mount modules offer reversible high voltage outputs. They offer a standard polarity switching time of 25ms, with an optional ultra-fast 5ms version available. The modules also guarantee a low ripple of 0.01%, stability of 100ppm/hr, and a temperature coefficient of 100ppm/°C, ensuring consistent performance over extended shift patterns. Specifically optimised for ionisation stages like electrospray ionisation (ESI), the MS Source series delivers a reversible output up to +/-6kV. On the detector side, components like photomultiplier tubes (PMTs), electron multipliers, or microchannel plates (MCPs), are sensitive to electrical noise, which can compromise analytical results. The MS Detector series delivers a fast-reversible main output up to +/-12kV for biasing dynode chains with a secondary adjustable output up to -5kV for powering the multipliers. The unified grounding scheme of the module eliminates low-frequency electrical noise, and reduces system size, wiring complexity, and overall cost. To aid system diagnostics, the MS Source includes analogue voltage and current monitor outputs, while the MS Detector includes specific pins for Dynode voltage readback and multiplier voltage readback. Designed for safe operation, both feature comprehensive short circuit, arc, and overload protections, and are designed to meet UL61010 safety approvals.
