Requirements
  • A completed and successful extended-role (Rôle Élargi) training attestation is mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory to communicate effectively with the local population.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Immediate availability to start is required.
  • Availability for on-call duty is mandatory.
Responsibilities
  • Assess patients clinically, diagnose common conditions, and treat patients according to extended-role protocols.
  • Provide general and emergency nursing care at the dispensary.
  • Provide on-call medical coverage to respond to emergencies outside regular opening hours.
  • Collaborate with remote medical support teams and medical evacuation services when required.
