Responsibilities
  • Liaise with tow, coach, toilet service, and water service drivers or agents as necessary.
  • Supervise all flight turnaround coordination staff on shift, including punctuality, break recording, and professional conduct.
  • Review staff duties and reassign work as required.
  • Brief staff before the commencement of each shift.
  • Maintain and update operational information systems.
  • Liaise with the POD regarding information required for daily stand allocation.
  • Communicate operational changes through the Flight Information System, telephone, telex, and other channels.
  • Monitor and action ground-to-air communications, phone calls, SITA messages, and emails.
  • Ensure load sheets are completed manually or through automated systems.
  • Ensure staff review and sign off new memo-book issuances.
  • Ensure third-party handlers and suppliers provide services in a timely manner.
  • Ensure electric Charlattes are charged at the required shift times.
  • Use Skylynx to allocate flight turnaround coordination staff and verify that flight details are entered according to procedure.
  • Obtain delay reports from involved parties and pass them to the Airside Duty Officer and Duty Manager.
  • Complete, file, and archive daily and monthly paperwork accurately.
  • Verify that staff wear the correct uniform and provided personal protective equipment.
  • Monitor AOMIS and communicate changes to staff.
  • Maintain professional contact with internal departments and customers to support smooth operations.
  • Keep Airside Duty Officers and Duty Managers informed of daily operations, delays, and anticipated difficulties.
  • Review staff allocations three days in advance and communicate changes to the Airside Control Manager.
  • Use the compliance caution system to address breaches of safety and procedure.
  • Record and communicate additional third-party handling services.
  • Control the sign-in and sign-out of radios, tablets, and issued software.
  • Use 3D tracking to locate ground support equipment and ensure its correct use.
  • Communicate toilet and water service requests to agents and release them in time to retrieve trucks and perform servicing.
  • Complete daily checklists for the Airside Control Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties assigned from time to time.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Delta.
  • Previous professional aviation experience.
