  • 6+ years of industry experience as a hands-on software engineer
  • You are someone who has been there before — you’ve built and lived with complex systems.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining backend systems end-to-end over multiple years
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and Django
  • Solid experience with Docker and deploying/operating services on GCP

Responsibilities
  • Take end-to-end ownership of core modules that power AppOmni’s platform — from design to production to long-term maintenance
  • Design, implement, and evolve highly reliable and secure backend systems using Django, Python, Docker, and GCP
  • Collaborate closely with multiple engineering teams to understand platform needs and enable them through scalable solutions
  • Proactively identify architectural, reliability, and scalability risks — and act decisively to mitigate them
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with engineering leadership, product, and peer teams
  • Set technical direction and standards for the Core Platform
  • Stay hands-on: writing code, reviewing designs, debugging production issues, and improving operational maturity
