About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • At least 2 years of professional engineering experience is required.
  • Engineering In Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or Storm Sewers is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team setting is required.
Responsibilities
  • Create permitting and construction plans, municipal zoning applications, and land development applications for private and public sector clients.
  • Design site layouts and grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management facilities, and site utilities.
  • Work with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers to execute projects.
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials.
  • Contribute to projects through conceptual and design phases, regulatory review, bidding, construction, and project completion.
Desired Qualifications
  • Engineering In Training (EIT) certification.
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or Storm Sewers.
