About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of account management or client services experience in a business-to-business environment.
  • Strong organizational discipline to manage a multi-account book, maintain current notes and customer relationship management records, and close every open item.
  • Clear, direct communication skills for writing status updates to Managing Partners and internal escalations to operations teams.
  • A proactive approach to surfacing problems before they become crises.
  • Comfort managing operational complexity, including billing exceptions, filing delays, alternative-service disputes, and electronic-filing issues.
  • Ability to learn new legal and regulatory frameworks quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Take the handoff from the Account Executive at contract signing and lead the firm through onboarding.
  • Define state footprint, plaintiff client mix, reporting requirements, service-attempt rules, electronic-filing setup, and exception handling.
  • Set ramp milestones, volume targets, and reporting cadence with the firm during the first 30 days, and document and share the commitments internally.
  • Ensure the platform is configured to match the contracted scope.
  • Identify and resolve onboarding blockers, including alternative-service setup, electronic-filing registration, bulk-upload format, and platform access issues.
  • Partner with the Solutions Architect to ensure customer success.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned accounts and own issue resolution.
  • Maintain regular communication, including monthly reviews for core accounts and formal quarterly business reviews for enterprise accounts.
  • Monitor account health through serve rate, filing service-level-agreement adherence, volume trends, open-job aging, and complaint rate.
  • Flag at-risk accounts early and escalate them internally with actionable specificity.
  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities across existing accounts, including new states, plaintiff clients, and service types.
  • Own the commercial conversation for expansion by identifying opportunities, proposing and negotiating expanded scope, and onboarding the expansion.
  • Own renewal conversations, make the case for renewal, and negotiate renewal terms.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the Proof platform, including its capabilities, limitations, configuration, and edge cases.
  • Understand the end-to-end service-of-process workflow, including job creation, server assignment, attempt cadence, affidavit generation, electronic filing, and billing.
  • Learn the state-specific service-of-process rules for assigned jurisdictions, including valid service requirements, filing service-level agreements, and alternative-service options.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with creditors’ rights law firms, law firms generally, or in the broader legal-services space.
  • Familiarity with service of process, including service attempts, affidavits of service, electronic filing, and substituted service, or the demonstrated ability to become fluent within 60 days.
  • Prior experience with legal technology platforms, case management software, or process-serving systems.
  • Exposure to compliance-driven client relationships involving audit programs, vendor questionnaires, service-level-agreement reporting requirements, and formal review cadences.

About the company

Proof Technology automates the process serving workflow for legal teams through a web-based platform. Law firms and legal departments upload documents, monitor delivery progress, and receive delivery notifications to ensure transparency and accountability in service of legal papers. Revenue comes from a dual model: ongoing subscriptions for platform access and per-transaction fees for each service request. Unlike traditional process servers, Proof replaces manual, unreliable methods with an automated, trackable system, increasing efficiency and reliability in the service of process. The company’s goal is to streamline the process serving step in legal workflows, reducing delays and ensuring compliance as volumes scale.

What believers are saying

  • September 15, 2026 banking guidance explicitly allows verifiable digital credentials in CIP.
  • Proof launched general availability on September 15, 2026, immediately matching that policy shift.
  • Proof and Superfluid announced September 22, 2026, expanding distribution into agentic payments.

What critics are saying

  • ID.me won an IRS contract worth up to $1 billion in January 2026.
  • Proof still competes against entrenched KYC vendors, banks' in-house stacks, and regulator scrutiny.
  • If agent wallets standardize elsewhere, Proof’s credential network becomes a feature, not infrastructure.

What makes Proof Technology unique

  • Proof’s September 2026 x401 protocol binds verified humans to agent actions.
  • Proof’s WebTrust-audited certificate authority and IAL2 proofing underpin reusable credentials.
  • Proof now spans legal services, banking identity, and AI-agent authentication.
