Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare management, or related field; Master’s Degree preferable; Lean Six Sigma or ISO knowledge a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive RCM leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading BPO RCM operations at scale
  • Experience sourcing and managing offshore/global RCM resources
  • Deep knowledge of revenue cycle management in private practice billing
  • Strong understanding of workflow management, service line development, and operationalization
  • Skilled in data-driven decision-making, developing, monitoring, responding to, and reporting on relevant financial and operational KPIs
  • Ability to travel domestically ~25% and internationally twice per year
  • Ability to work eastern time zone work hours
Responsibilities
  • Direct the RCM Operations Team to meet established metrics and KPIs – customer KPIs, business financials, compliance, and company objectives
  • Create customer satisfaction by optimizing the current organization, integrating teams, developing unified processes and procedures, and directing daily operations with a client-performance-centric focus and full leverage of technology solutions
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of operational areas, and proactively initiate process & system improvements for the ongoing enhancement of service performance
  • Oversee and enhance the BPO vendor relationships to successfully manage the operation
  • Scale the operation: build out teams, processes, tools & systems as well as external/BPO partnerships that will allow this high-growth company to scale its RCM offerings quickly to clients in current specialties and as the company expands into new areas
  • Prepare financial forecasts, assist in the budgeting process, address variances & update forecasts throughout the fiscal year, manage ongoing P&L and expenses, plans for appropriate staffing and capacity management
  • Create and manage budgets that optimize investment, supports agreed-upon KPI’s, and strives for continuous efficiencies and process improvements
  • Mentor and guide direct reports to manage day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement in workflows and processes
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across departments in support of a single voice and single “face” to the client
  • Represent the needs, issues, and opportunities of the RCM operations team to the senior management and executive team
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of billing compliance regulations and policies
