Requirements
  • The role requires 8-9 years of experience with Software as a Service or Platform as a Service product management.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform team, which owns the Management Layer and Control Infrastructure of Astro, the Software as a Service data orchestration product.
  • Engage deeply with strategic customers and customer-facing teams to understand use cases and pain points, and use that evidence to define the product roadmap in collaboration with the broader product and research and development organization.
  • Develop detailed use cases and product requirements, working closely with the engineering team through design, development, and release processes.
  • Support product marketing and sales enablement by crafting customer-focused messaging and content.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience delivering products in the data space, particularly APIs, authentication, billing, and high-fidelity or high-availability systems.
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow or other modern data tools.
  • Interest in or passion for open-source projects and communities.
