What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership and Vision:
Work with key stakeholders to develop and launch the vision for the CVI SafeStat platform powered by Apricot, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and objectives.
Steer the CVI SafeStat platform towards empowering communities with data-driven solutions and outcome-oriented strategies.
Oversee the strategic direction and vision of the CVI initiative, ensuring it aligns with Bonterra’s mission and leverages unique technological capabilities.
Innovation and Technology Integration:
Champion the integration of Bonterra’s innovative enterprise impact management solutions, focusing on immediate transformation and scaling impact.
Work closely with our Product and Development teams to drive the development and deployment of platform to transition CVI programs from simple data collection to comprehensive outcomes management and community impact.
Work with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation within the platform’s use, suggesting new features, integrations, or practices to enhance the value and impact of our initiatives.
Impact and Performance Management:
Lead and oversee large-scale projects from implementation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Guide cross-functional teams in the execution of project deliverables, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders needs and obligations.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of initiatives against strategic objectives, using data to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments.
Provide weekly project updates to Bonterra’s senior leadership team to ensure comprehensive communication and alignment.
Technical Transformation and Data Strategy:
Ensure the impact of the CVI initiative is measurable against defined KPIs, facilitating continuous improvement towards project success.
Lead the immediate technical transformation within the CVI ecosystem, addressing foundational issues such as the lack of coordinated systems approach and data integration that stakeholders may not be equipped to handle.
Oversee the development of a sustainable data strategy and governance model, ensuring data integrity, security, and actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Collaborate closely with leadership and key stakeholders, including the SafeStat Director, to understand their needs and expectations, integrating them into the project strategy to foster strong buy-in and support.
Facilitate data-sharing agreements and ensure smooth data integration by working closely with the Data Collaboration Lead.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain transparent communication with leadership and stakeholders about the strategic progress of initiatives, celebrating successes and addressing challenges head-on.
Ensure the alignment of communication strategies with project objectives by coordinating with the Communications Manager.
Engage senior stakeholders and facilitate data-sharing efforts by collaborating with the Partner/Stakeholder Manager.
Manage logistics and support the alignment of activities with overall project goals by working closely with the Operational Coordinator.
Team Leadership and Management:
Work with Program Managers, Training Specialists, Data Consultants, and other key roles to ensure a cohesive approach to project execution, with all activities supporting the strategic vision.
Serve as the dedicated project executive throughout the CVI SafeStat project duration.
Hire, manage and mentor key positions for the project and ensure they are effectively integrated into the team.
Proactively identify and raise strategic risks to the initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to ensure long-term sustainability.
Required Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading large-scale, technology-driven projects, with a significant portion of this experience in sectors related to community violence intervention, public safety, or health and human services.
Experience working with or consulting with local governments
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Deep expertise in the community violence ecosystem, with a proven track record of successfully leveraging technology to address complex social problems.
High emotional intelligence, with the capability to navigate and align diverse stakeholder groups, including community organizations, governmental agencies, and technology teams.
Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Strong competency in data-driven decision-making and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
Ability to work effectively in a virtual, remote environment, with a readiness to travel as needed to engage with partners, communities, and stakeholders nationwide.
Commitment to Bonterra’s mission of creating impact through innovative technology solutions, with a passion for driving long-term success and sustainability in community violence intervention efforts.
Advanced degrees in technology management, social sciences, public health, or related fields, with a preference for certifications in project management or technology implementation.
Candidate Qualifications:
Demonstrated commitment to racial justice, equity, and cultural humility, with experience in community violence intervention.
Initiative and drive to identify and act on opportunities and challenges without needing external prompting.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
Effective communication skills across various platforms, including video-conference and in-person interactions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in relevant technology solutions and platforms.
Resourceful, with the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
Expertise in project/program management, change management, data strategy, and an understanding of the broader social context of community violence and intervention.
Willingness to travel nationally as required for stakeholder engagement and community collaboration.
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US Base Salary Range: $170,000 - $185,000 w/a 15% annual bonus
