  • Ability to quickly learn new industries and technical domains, build credible talent maps and creative search strategies, and adapt them across aerospace and defense, automotive, energy, maritime, and other markets.
  • Ability to work directly with founders and functional leaders to define profiles, pressure-test requirements, share market insights, and close top candidates.

  • Own the candidate pipeline from initial identification through offer acceptance, managing more than 50 active candidates simultaneously while maintaining candidate experience.
  • Partner with the CEO and hiring managers to understand role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and the competitive landscape, then execute hiring plans.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline that stays weeks ahead of hiring needs.
  • Design and optimize recruiting workflows, tools, and processes that scale with company growth, and develop a playbook for future recruiters.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize recruiting metrics, including pipeline conversion rates, time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and candidate quality scores.
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetups, and relevant communities to build its employer brand and talent network in AI and deep-tech circles.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience recruiting for AI startups from seed through Series C during hypergrowth phases, from zero to more than 100 employees.

About the company

UniversalAGI operates as a forward-deployed AI lab that builds and deploys autonomous AI agents for enterprises and government organizations. Its platform provides the infrastructure, talent, and security needed to turn business concepts into production-ready AI applications that work with an organization’s most sensitive data. The system includes a suite of agents and automation tools and can often convert a concept into a working app in under an hour using natural language inputs, with emphasis on security, scale, and adaptability. The company differentiates itself by embedding expert AI teams with clients to deliver mission-critical, production-grade AI—often in secure or air-gapped environments for sensitive national data—and by combining no-code capabilities with enterprise-grade AI transformations.
