Test Engineer - ICT, SMT
About the job
- At least 5 years of experience in the test systems area.
- Analytical ability and knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multifunctional teams in a global environment.
- Knowledge of bench-top test equipment, including digital multimeters, high-current power supplies, electronic loads, measurement probes, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience designing, developing, fabricating, assembling, and testing power electronics or analog hardware, particularly power systems and analog electronics in space environments.
- Strong knowledge of IPC standards, including IPC-A-610.
- Knowledge of problem-solving methods including Shainin, Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Check-Act, and 8D.
- Knowledge of statistical process control.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Preference for bilingual English-Spanish proficiency at 75%.
- Bachelor's degree in a process-specific engineering discipline: Mechatronics, Electronic, Industrial, Systems, Metallurgic, Chemistry, or Electromechanical engineering.
- Willingness to travel.
- Implement, maintain, and improve the manufacturing process.
- Ensure technical availability of equipment across all shifts.
- Fulfill Value Stream key performance indicators, including IDC, FOR, and technical downtime.
- Support new product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation, and installation in the production environment.
- Develop processes and process instructions.
- Prepare training materials for technicians.
- Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes.
- High teamwork interaction.
- Ability to deal with conflict and work under pressure.
