  • A Master’s degree and BCBA certification, or a doctorate degree with BCBA-D.
  • Current BCBA or BCBA-D certification.
  • At least three years of experience in the applied behavior analysis field, including at least two years as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Experience training Registered Behavior Technicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and BCBA candidates or students.
  • Current Indiana behavior analyst licensure.
  • RBT Supervisor 8-hour Supervision Training.
  • Must have or be able to obtain Critical Moment Training Trainer Certification.
  • Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR Trainer Certification.
  • Minimum age of 18 to meet licensure requirements.
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar programs.
  • A valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record meeting the eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier for positions requiring driving.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and executing goals and initiatives for the ABA Learning and Development team.
  • Direct and manage Learning and Development Specialists, including recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular individual and team meetings to provide feedback, establish expectations, and support employee development.
  • Ensure consistent learning experiences and training practices across all ABA service locations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of ABA Services to develop department-wide learning strategies, quality improvement initiatives, and workforce development plans.
  • Design, implement, evaluate, and maintain onboarding, training, and professional development programs that promote clinical excellence, staff competency, evidence-based applied behavior analysis practices, and adult learning principles.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analyses to identify competency gaps, learning objectives, and professional development opportunities.
  • Facilitate learning experiences for internal and external stakeholders and assist with agency-wide training on clinical topics, best practices, and areas of expertise.
  • Provide ongoing clinical support, coaching, and professional development opportunities to Behavior Analysts and other ABA team members.
  • Use Behavioral Skills Training and other evidence-based instructional strategies throughout training activities.
  • Ensure completion and documentation of required onboarding, credentialing, licensure, certification, and mandatory training requirements for ABA staff.
  • Maintain requirements necessary to serve as a Certified Medication Technician Instructor and obtain and maintain CPR Instructor certification as required.
  • Maintain BCBA certification and licensure requirements.
  • Monitor and support compliance with BACB standards, including RBT credentialing, supervision requirements, ethics standards, and ACE Provider requirements.

  • Formal training or demonstrated experience implementing Practical Functional Assessment and Skills-Based Treatment methodologies.
