- A Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification or qualification as a Physician Assistant.
- Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or board certification as a Physician Assistant.
- An active New Jersey license.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support certification, plus CDS/DEA authorization.
- Provide advanced medical care within the relevant clinical specialty and scope of education.
- Consult with other members of the health care team to strengthen advanced medical practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
- Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
