  • Ability to turn ambiguous hiring needs into structured talent strategies, using business context, market intelligence and sound judgment to recommend clear next steps.
  • Experience owning full-cycle searches, ideally for technology, technical or analytics roles, with a strong focus on proactive sourcing, talent engagement and building pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with experience using talent intelligence, competitor mapping, external market trends and recruiting data to identify patterns and improve hiring outcomes.

  • A track record of creating strong candidate and stakeholder experiences through clear communication, preparation, empathy and consistent follow-through.
  • Comfort using recruiting technology, including applicant tracking systems, with an eagerness to experiment with AI-enabled tools to improve quality, insight and efficiency.
  • Strong organization, curiosity and resilience, with the judgment to manage competing priorities, learn from outcomes and maintain high standards without losing sight of the human experience.
Responsibilities
  • Build a deep understanding of supported teams, including their priorities, customers, talent needs and competitive landscape, and turn talent-market signals, competitor movement, talent availability, pipeline data and candidate feedback into recommendations for hiring leaders.
  • Lead searches from intake through hire, with success measured by delivery outcomes rather than activity alone.

  • Maintain momentum through to outcome, take accountability for progress, communicate clearly and follow through on owned work.
  • Map relevant talent markets, identify emerging and non-obvious talent pools, and cultivate relationships that strengthen the ability to hire for current and future needs.
  • Make candidate and stakeholder interactions clear, responsive and human; help candidates understand the opportunity and company, prepare hiring teams to make thoughtful decisions, and improve the hiring experience.
  • Apply AI and emerging recruiting technology to research, talent mapping, sourcing, communication and workflow efficiency; test approaches, learn from results and scale improvements, using judgment about where technology adds value and human connection matters most.
  • Partner across Talent Advisory & Delivery, People Teams, business teams and geographies with transparency and shared accountability; bring candid perspectives, welcome different points of view and contribute beyond individual searches when expertise can strengthen team results.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data, use it to understand funnel health and uncover patterns, and translate insights into action that strengthens hiring decisions, experiences and results.
  • Identify recurring challenges, test better approaches and share effective practices across Talent Advisory & Delivery; stay informed about the business, competitors and talent markets, bring outside-in thinking to hiring conversations, and continuously improve talent attraction, assessment and hiring.

DraftKings guides 2026 EBITDA at $700M–$900M, but Wall Street models $667M as CEO signals lower 2027 spend

DraftKings chief executive Jason Robins says spending on its Predictions product could fall in 2027. Speaking at the Wells Fargo Consumer Conference on September 22, he said higher 2026 spending does not mean higher costs next year: "if anything, it's probably the opposite." The company has guided to $700 million to $900 million of 2026 adjusted EBITDA. Consensus sits near $667 million, below that floor. DraftKings reports third-quarter results on November 5 and has promised a 2027 update the next day. Analysts expect a third-quarter EBITDA loss of about $49 million and 2027 EBITDA of about $1.12 billion. Shares rose about 2% to $20.94 on October 22. The mean analyst target is about $34.

DraftKings Predictions hits $11B annualised volume, but is it enough to revive the stock?

DraftKings is betting on Predictions, its prediction market, to reach customers its sportsbook cannot. The stock fell 39.9% over the past year, while the S&P 500 returned 17.1%. On its August 7, 2026 call, management said more than 600,000 customers had used Predictions in 2026, many in states without a regulated sportsbook, such as California and Texas. Annualized volume traded rose to $11 billion in July from $2.3 billion in April. Sportsbook handle rose 11% year on year in fiscal Q2 2026, but total revenue fell 4.6%. Management blamed customer sports results and acquisition costs. DraftKings plans to invest $200 million to $300 million in Predictions in 2026 and kept revenue guidance at $6.5 billion to $6.9 billion. Lower revenue per customer and regulation remain risks.

DraftKings stock down 11.1% in six months to $20.44: three reasons analysts avoid it

DraftKings' stock has fallen to $20.44 over the past six months, leaving shareholders down 11.1% while the S&P 500 gained 8.9%. Softer quarterly results partly drove the drop, according to analysts at StockStory. StockStory cites three concerns. Annualised revenue growth of 20.3% over the last two years fell below the five-year trend, and the operating margin averaged negative 4.4% over the same period, despite a rise in the last 12 months. Its free cash flow margin averaged 9.9%, which StockStory considers low for a consumer discretionary business. The stock trades at 18.7× forward earnings, a reasonable valuation but not a big opportunity, the analysts say.

New York sportsbooks generate highest weekly gross revenue of football season. New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston (19) celebrates with Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (1) after connecting on a touchdown pass against the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium. Geoff Burke-Imagn Images Despite a 6% week-over-week decline in handle, New York online sportsbooks generated their highest gross revenue of the NFL season. Key Takeaways * New York operators fall short of a double-digit hold again. * The weekly handle excludes wagers placed on Monday's Bills-Rams game. * FanDuel kept 9% of over $200 million in wagers. The New York State Gaming Commission reported on Friday that eight mobile operators won back $52.1 million of a $581.2-million handle during the NFL's Week 5. The period that ended Oct. 11 also featured a full slate of college football and the second round of the MLB postseason. The latest gross revenue haul was up 6.1% from the previous week and a significant increase from the $30.2 million generated during the same period last year. Operators still fell short of the first double-digit hold of the fall, but the 9% win rate was up over a point from the previous week. The latest handle failed to reach $600 million in consecutive weeks and fell by more than $9 million year over year, but there was one less game played in the NFL, as the Chiefs and Panthers were on a bye. The amount wagered for the week also didn't take into account the full betting picture for last Monday's Bills-Rams showdown. FanDuel, DraftKings surpass $200M. FanDuel continued its streak of five consecutive $200-million handles and led all New York sports betting operators with $209 million in handle, good for a 9.1% hold. The operator won $19.1 million, dipping below $20 million in gross revenue for the first time in three weeks. DraftKings wasn't far behind in handle, generating $203 million in wagers. The online operator also used a 9.2% win rate to keep $18.6 million in gross revenue, DraftKings' best week of the NFL season. Other operators. Fanatics produced a 9.7% hold on $68.4 million in wagers during the week ending Oct. 11 to generate the third-most revenue. BetMGM won back just 5.3% on a $40.1-million handle, while Caesars nearly reached 9% on $39.4 million in bets. theScore Bet finished third in New York for the week with a 10.1% hold, while BetRivers won 9.2% on $10.3 million in wagers. Bally Bet reached second place with a 10.6% hold for the week, but generated a modest $3.2-million handle.
