Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in BIM modeling, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare or public health facility projects
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools
  • Proven expertise in 3D modeling, visualization, and construction documentation
  • Strong knowledge of public health facility design standards, including NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) guidelines and WHO recommendations
  • In-depth understanding of infection control design principles and medical equipment integration requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Indian building codes, regulations, and construction processes relevant to healthcare facilities
  • Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination and clash detection methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination across multiple disciplines and project teams
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex BIM projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams
  • Proficiency in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement
Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and management of detailed BIM models for public health facilities, from initial concept through construction documentation and handover
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, healthcare consultants, and contractors to develop integrated design solutions that meet public health standards and best practices
  • Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to identify and resolve clashes and conflicts proactively
  • Develop comprehensive 3D visualizations and detailed construction drawings that communicate design intent clearly to stakeholders and construction teams
  • Ensure all BIM models comply with relevant building codes, healthcare facility standards (NABH, WHO guidelines), and Indian regulatory requirements
  • Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative technologies into BIM models for public health facilities
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of BIM models to maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards
  • Mentor and guide junior BIM modelers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure efficient and on-schedule project completion
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to inform BIM modeling decisions and ensure design feasibility within healthcare contexts
  • Present BIM models, design proposals, and technical solutions to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities
  • Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies, healthcare design standards, and industry best practices relevant to public health infrastructure
  • Analyze project requirements and develop innovative solutions that balance clinical functionality, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
