Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA qualification.
- Three to five years of experience.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes core concepts, containerization, and Docker essentials.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Istio service mesh.
- Knowledge of Linux command-line interface and basic operating-system components, including kernel, CPU, memory, disk, and network.
- Scripting experience with Bash and YAML.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
- Experience supporting Kubernetes-based projects to resolve critical and complex technical issues.
- Experience performing application deployments and configuration on Kubernetes clusters.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
- Knowledge of the ITIL Service Management Framework, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Ability to work in shifts and travel to customer locations for business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT infrastructure and application operations for Manufacturing (i4.0) IT applications.
- Perform container-based application deployments, configurations, and hotfix installations.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing IT application and infrastructure incidents.
- Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and network teams to provide day-to-day application operations support.
- Onboard manufacturing IT applications and implement manufacturing plant-specific configurations.
- Perform application and infrastructure migrations.
- Deliver services to customers in accordance with defined service levels and key performance indicators.
- Monitor system performance and ensure application availability.
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, customer coordinators, and stakeholders; prepare technical documentation and deliver training.
- Manage customer satisfaction and escalations, and continuously improve service delivery.
- Provide extended support for planned maintenance and on-call readiness.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Icinga, Grafana, or ELK.
- Working experience with Rancher.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including VPN, IPsec, firewalls, load-balancing setup, and security implementation.
- Database administration experience with Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of IoT and IT for Manufacturing (i4.0) concepts.
- Working knowledge of various tools and open-source technologies.
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification.
