Requirements
  • An active, in-scope United States Government-issued Secret clearance is required.
  • United States citizenship is required.
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 Security+ or higher is required.
  • Citrix Certified Associate–Virtualization, Citrix Certified Associate–Networking, or an equivalent certification is required.
  • Completion of the Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions Trusted Thin Client Administrator Training Course is required.
  • An associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field and four or more years of work experience is required; alternatively, six or more years of experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Trusted Thin Client system and provide technical guidance and leadership to team members.
  • Develop and implement processes for proactive monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Perform administrative tasks involving Trusted Thin Client server and client hardware, software, applications, and configurations.
  • Ensure that the Trusted Thin Client system operates efficiently and securely in support of mission-critical operations.
  • Implement network security protocols and enforce cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing immediate and sustainable solutions for the Trusted Thin Client system.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and integration of Trusted Thin Client systems across broader operational initiatives.
  • Design, write, modify, and implement software programs and applications.
  • Develop glueware to support operational client applications and security patches.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support.
  • Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect, and maintain physical and virtual server systems, including administration of core and functional services.
  • Manage and administer user accounts, profiles, and access.
  • Provide desktop, server, and software application integration support.
  • Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools, and detect, analyze, and resolve platform, infrastructure, and system problems.
  • Monitor and control system performance, utilization, and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
  • Report vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives.
  • Evaluate current architecture and research current technologies and solutions.
  • Provide hardware and software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end-of-life and end-of-support commercial off-the-shelf products to government technical representatives.
  • Support Cross Domain Solutions as required.
  • Coordinate with Forcepoint to perform quarterly Trusted Thin Client Health Assessments, analyze the overall health, operational capability, and capacity of Trusted Thin Client infrastructure and services, and make recommendations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at various levels to provide updates, resolve issues, and drive system improvements.
