- A valid United Arab Emirates Boat Captain License for the above-24-meter vessel category is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a boat or yacht captain is required, preferably within tourism or hospitality sectors in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai maritime laws, navigation routes, and safety regulations is required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
- The ability to handle luxury clientele and deliver high-standard guest experiences is required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Command and operate the house boat safely during cruising and docking operations within Dubai waters.
- Ensure full compliance with United Arab Emirates Coast Guard and Roads and Transport Authority Maritime rules and safety standards.
- Oversee the daily inspection and maintenance of the vessel, including engines, navigation systems, and safety equipment.
- Supervise onboard crew, ensuring professional conduct, hygiene, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor weather and sea conditions to plan safe routes and schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel consumption, maintenance, and incident reports.
- Coordinate with the Marine Operations Department for permits, maintenance schedules, and guest itineraries.
- Conduct guest briefings on safety procedures and ensure their comfort throughout the cruise.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or mechanical issues, ensuring passenger safety at all times.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, authorities, and vendors.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge for small vessel engines is an advantage.
- Knowledge of languages other than English is a plus.
