Technical Platform Manager
About the job
- Experience conducting or testing naval technical installations (military or civilian), or equivalent training.
- Good knowledge of propulsion systems, including diesel engines, propulsion lines, and generator sets.
- Experience managing worksites in shipbuilding or ship repair.
- Ability to manage schedules, coordination, and resources.
- A maritime defense sector background is an advantage.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for superintendents based in Brest and overseas territories.
- Coordinate technical activities across the fleet.
- Facilitate technical exchanges with local teams and partners.
- Manage technical resources and information.
- Prepare and supervise major and intermediate technical stoppages.
- Coordinate subcontractors in liaison with the Purchasing department.
- Analyze breakdowns and damage, propose technical solutions, and follow their implementation.
- Plan and coordinate onboard work with field teams.
- Draft technical documents, including test programs, reports, and follow-up files.
- Monitor quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to technical analysis of quotations and proposals.
- Support identification of technical risks.
- Support the MCO Engineering Manager in ensuring offer consistency.
- Knowledge of the maritime defense sector.
