About the job
- At least 5 years of professional experience with election administration or statewide voter registration systems.
- Knowledge of Help America Vote Act (HAVA) and National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) requirements.
- Comfort working as a 1099 project-based consultant.
- Assess voter registration, list maintenance, and election management workflows.
- Define requirements for statewide voter registration system modernization.
- Advise on HAVA, NVRA, and security requirements and integrations with Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), and vital records.
- Support vendor evaluation, implementation planning, and testing.
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when authorized to be named.
- Election security or Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) experience.
- Former state or county election official experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
