About the company

DeligoVision provides an AI-powered checkout solution for canteens and micro-markets that speeds up the purchase process by visually recognizing items without barcodes. Its AI engine, trained on over 1.5 million transactions, can instantly identify fresh and packaged foods and even distinguish meal components or takeaway containers. The system runs on compact kiosks that integrate with existing point-of-sale, payment, and management systems, enabling a checkout in about three seconds. This approach differentiates DeligoVision through its real-time visual recognition, small hardware footprint, and seamless integration, plus the ability to reallocate staff to higher-value tasks. The company aims to reduce lines, boost efficiency, and increase revenue for food service operators while improving customer satisfaction.

Propelr partners with Deligo to embed AI-powered visual checkout with secure payment processing for C-stores

Propelr has partnered with Deligo to integrate payment processing into Deligo's AI-powered self-checkout platform for convenience stores and food service operators. The collaboration combines Deligo's visual AI technology, which identifies products without barcode scanning, with Propelr's secure payment infrastructure. The integrated solution aims to speed up checkout by handling the entire transaction from item recognition to payment in seconds. Propelr's system uses PCI-certified point-to-point encryption and tokenisation to protect customer data. The partnership addresses friction in high-volume retail environments where checkout speed directly impacts revenue and customer satisfaction. By unifying checkout and payment systems, the solution reduces complexity for merchants whilst improving operational efficiency. Both companies emphasise the importance of fast, seamless transactions in food service and convenience retail settings.
