Responsibilities
  • Lead or support instruction across various grade levels as needed, either grades K-4 or grades 5-8.
  • Execute the teacher’s lesson plans and report concerns or issues from the day to the teacher.
  • Offer social-emotional learning support for students and manage student and classroom behavior.
  • Assist with various duties and provide support for teachers and students as needed.
  • Accompany students and attend specialist classes as needed.
  • Provide short-term coverage for lead teachers or assistant teachers as needed.
  • Collaborate with partner teachers and/or grade-level teams to ensure consistency of instruction and student expectations.
