Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Six to ten or more years of experience in accounting, finance, reporting, auditing, or related work is required.
  • Proficiency in C3LinC, PointClickCare, standard accounts payable platforms, and multiple financial systems is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • A strong understanding of general ledger accounting, accruals, financial statements, and reconciliations is required.
  • Experience providing timely, clear, and professional financial support to department leaders, residents, and families is required.
  • Ability to collaborate with the Executive Director on onsite financial leadership, reporting accuracy, and issue ownership is required.
  • Ability to collaborate with centralized Centers of Excellence and the LCS Regional Finance team using accurate information, timely escalation, and strong local coordination is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present to small and large groups are required.
  • A pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening are required.
Responsibilities
  • Focus on local financial execution, coordination, accountability, and service continuity.
  • Serve as the primary onsite owner for accounting, billing, and financial matters affecting residents, families, vendors, and department leaders.
  • Act as the core coordination point between the community, centralized Centers of Excellence, and LCS Regional Finance to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain operational continuity by owning resolution and follow-through on local financial issues, including issues executed by centralized teams.
  • Provide resident and family financial support and lead accounts receivable collection efforts.
  • Provide communication, support, and guidance to the Executive Director and department leaders on insights, budget variances, spend drivers, and operational impacts.
  • Escalate operational trends, risks, and opportunities to the Regional Finance Partner.
  • Manage local vendor relationships and coordinate accounts payable accruals with department leaders and Centers of Excellence to ensure accurate period reporting.
  • Maintain accurate resident financial records, contract changes, and census data in PointClickCare and C3LinC.
  • Perform community- and state-specific financial, regulatory, and compliance tasks.
  • Partner with the Regional Finance Partner to align community performance, evaluate resource needs, and support forecasting, performance reviews, and strategic decision-making.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in the senior living or healthcare industries is preferred.
  • A Certified Public Accountant license is preferred.
