Requirements
  • No education level is required.
  • The role is entry level.
  • The employee must work safely and efficiently using all required personal protective equipment, safety equipment, and devices in accordance with standardized work documentation or proper training techniques.
  • The employee must maintain an attendance record of 3 points or less.
  • The employee must remain in the position for at least 180 days.
Responsibilities
  • Engage in assembly of products using various hand tools and equipment.
  • Learn basic assembly skills.
  • Learn to read print drawings.
  • Build and insert assembled interiors into plastic containers.
  • Perform self and peer quality inspections during assembly to ensure quality is maintained.
  • Work with the Cell Lead to develop assembly skills.
  • Alert the Cell Lead, Team Lead, Set Up, or Supervisor to safety issues within the cell or quality issues with the assembled product.
  • Work in various cells throughout the shift.
  • Verify parts and materials against the work order.
  • Be actively involved in continuous improvement and promote and sustain continuous improvement, 5S, and standardized work activities.
  • Successfully complete the 30-60-90 Day Progress Report.
  • Successfully complete the OIT JTTF Assessment.
Desired Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is desired.
  • Six months of assembly manufacturing experience is desired.
