A Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Grade 6C Full Operator License is required.
Knowledge of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulations for plant operations and maintenance is required.
Familiarity with computers in a Windows-based environment is required.
Must be able to work outdoors in all climates, climb ladders, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
Monitor and observe operating conditions, adjusting process controls as necessary.
Troubleshoot plant equipment and perform minor maintenance as necessary.
Collect samples and perform routine laboratory tests.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
Perform general housekeeping at facilities.
Maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.
Compile monthly data for compliance reporting.
Weston & Sampson Services is currently looking for a Chief Wastewater Treatment Operator to support operations and maintenance in the Upper Cape Cod Region.
What you’ll do:
Monitoring and observing operating conditions and adjusting process controls as necessary

What you will bring:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
MA Wastewater Treatment Grade 6C Full Operator License
Knowledge of MA DEP regulation of plan O&M
Familiarity with computers in a Windows based environment
Must be able to work outdoors in all climates, climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license
Pay Range: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour depending on experience
