- Manage and perform audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Manage all phases of an engagement from planning through issuance of financial statements while ensuring the firm's quality control procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with partners on engagement progress, client communications, staffing requirements, job planning, scheduling, and related matters.
- Maintain direct responsibility for client billing.
- Delegate work effectively to team members and provide ongoing mentoring to staff.
- Complete performance reviews.
- Develop an understanding of clients' industries and identify key performance indicators, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
- Maintain contact with clients throughout the year to understand significant business developments and assess their impact on current-year audit engagements.
- Participate in networking activities and maintain contact with business peers.
- Support management in decisions concerning policies and procedures and communicate that support to the team.
- Travel up to 20% of the year, depending on client needs.
- A Master's degree in Accounting is preferred.
