Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in building maintenance, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical work, construction, or related trades is preferred.
  • Healthcare facility maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel, is required.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and strong communication and organizational skills are required.
  • The ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions is required.
  • The ability to participate in on-call, weekend, holiday, and after-hours coverage as needed is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, carpentry, and facility systems.
  • Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Assist with facility projects, regulatory compliance, and Environment of Care requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and maintenance documentation.
  • Support hospital safety, security, and operational standards.
