About the job
- Secondary education in a technical field (electrical specialization).
- A Category B driver's license.
- At least six months of work experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work with a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and work in a team or group.
- Repair mechanical equipment and devices throughout the plant, including maintaining and repairing machinery such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, shears, and presses.
- Maintain machines and equipment according to their maintenance instructions.
- Start up and shut down complex production systems and more demanding machines and equipment.
- Perform electrical measurements, inventory checks, and monitoring of parameters for electrical machines, equipment, and installations.
- Specialize in CNC machines, presses, painting systems, welding machines and equipment, robots, and CNC cutting machines (plasma, laser, and oxyfuel).
- Select and define appropriate spare parts and provide purchasing information; select and define wear parts and provide information to the tool warehouse.
- Install purchased equipment and machines at the workstation, prepare them for inspection by the authorized occupational safety institution, and prepare them for startup.
- Perform drilling and other mechanical machining procedures using handheld electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic tools.
- Select and use appropriate measuring instruments and accessories to determine dimensions specified by plans, technical documentation, or inspection protocols.
