  • Working knowledge of SAP

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the physical transition of bulk railcars entering and leaving the plant
  • Coordinating the physical transition of box cars set at offsite warehouse
  • Performing GMP requirements training with all new certified drivers, in-plant workers, and switching crews
  • Performing daily loading schedule
  • Placing orders and performing billing functions with railroad
  • Scheduling, monitoring to completion, and tracking Bulk and Rail shipments
  • Scheduling and monitoring to completion of in-plant work (car to car, vacs, etc.)
  • Processing receipts of incoming rail shipments of PPO, Salt, ADM, and Hylon Bulk material returns
  • Entering daily rail car rebates and preparing monthly for processing
  • Reviewing and initially approving invoicing for monthly rail switching activities and in-plant work
  • Assisting with physical inventory count of specific items
  • Supporting improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase efficiency
  • Supporting inventory performance improvements within the site
  • Interfacing with lab and scheduling teams
  • Serving as a liaison between plant activities and customer service
  • Researching and resolving customer complaints and assisting with quality complaints (pertaining to bulk rail and truck issues)
  • Performing needed transactions into SAP pertaining to transfer orders, receipts, production entry, and inventory management activities such as move tickets, cycle counting, etc.
  • Serving as contact person for all bulk rail and truck issues, to include off hour calls related to issues that may arise.
