Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is required.
  • A Georgia provisional or associate license in the social services field, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC, is required.
  • Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred.
  • Current credentialing with managed care panels is highly desired.
  • Bilingual ability is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for patients.
  • Collaborate with outpatient providers.
  • Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals, and discharge criteria.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
  • Provide support to the team when needed.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
  • Obtain current information on each patient's clinical progress from various sources when needed and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Full or independent licensure is preferred.
  • Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred.
  • Current credentialing with managed care panels is highly desired.
