- A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
- At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 9 years of experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, reporting, related tools, and data modeling concepts.
- At least 9 years of experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, related technologies, and tools.
- At least 6 years of experience in project life-cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing data visualization solutions using QlikView.
- Approximately 5 years of hands-on professional experience with QlikView scripting, data-source integration, advanced graphical user-interface development, performance tuning, deployment, and application support.
- At least 5 years of experience using QlikView version 10 or higher, preferably version 11.
- Experience developing, designing, and architecting business intelligence solutions.
- Experience sourcing data from disparate systems, with an understanding of data models and extract, transform, and load procedures.
- Strong knowledge of QlikView Server architecture and building QlikView data files and application files while applying business rules and data validations.
- Experience implementing end-to-end business intelligence projects, especially scorecards, key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.
- Advanced scripting and extract, transform, and load experience, including star-schema data modeling.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources into a QlikView data model.
- Experience using complex QlikView functions and developing optimized scripts for a given solution.
- Good knowledge of Structured Query Language, relational databases, and dimensional modeling with star schemas.
- Experience optimizing data models for performance.
- Experience developing enterprise applications for production environments.
- Experience with complex data models.
- Knowledge of front-end design and data-visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with Set Analysis and QlikView charts and graphs to select the appropriate visualization for a business situation.
