  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read drawings and specifications
  • Must have solid mechanical skills, utilize basic math and reading skills, ability to utilize hand and power tools.
  • Must have computer, math and reading proficiency and ability to use databases.
  • Ability to receive and follow instruction
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to change with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and department-specific Quality Inspection, auditing, compliance, and Critical Process inspections throughout the plant in a standardized, efficient, and repeatable manner.
  • Provide training to others on critical-to-quality product and process criteria.
  • Move boats to various locations (repaint, outside, warehouse, etc.) manually or by pallet jack and assist in heat-shrinking boats as required.
  • Works on special projects geared towards product or process improvement
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for customer satisfaction and a quality leader within the facility.
  • Ability to perform independently as well as in a team role, possess good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Actively participate in and work in a safe manner.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
