Requirements
  • 5-8 years of corporate communications experience, preferably with a mix of agency and in-house experience.
  • A track record of working with senior executives as a strategic communications advisor.
  • Proven experience in balancing confidential information and effective decision-making under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Excellent writing skills, painstaking attention to detail, and ability to navigate ambiguous issues to create concise messaging and plans.
  • Demonstrable ability to take a strategic approach to assessing corporate reputation challenges and opportunities.
  • Understanding of different audiences and channels that make up the communications landscape.
  • Experience developing media strategies and interacting with journalists.
  • Experience with project management, including planning and delivering work against agreed goals, timetables, and budgets.
  • A highly motivated team member with keen creative vision who values collaboration and continued improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communications strategies for Rightway: high-impact strategies that leverage creativity, storytelling, and media relations expertise to build brand awareness.
  • Evolve Rightway’s narrative highlighting the company’s vision, mission, and strategy.
  • Use knowledge of various channels and target audiences to identify the best way(s) for Rightway to tell its story publicly.
  • Produce high-quality written content (blog, press releases, statements, social posts).
  • Strategize and execute against significant communications moments for spokespeople (e.g. media briefings, speeches, and executive speaking placements).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, product development, sales, and partnerships to ensure cohesive brand messaging, both internally and externally.
  • Drive baseline measurement to analyze and report on performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize learnings.
