Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of related industry experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the key job accountabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems proactively using structured problem-solving tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control, and 8D.
  • Ability to apply systemic data analysis and problem solving to technical and organizational problems.
  • Ability to design and conduct experiments and analyze, interpret, validate, and communicate data to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply mathematics, statistics, science, and engineering applications.
  • Ability to design systems or processes within economic, efficiency, repeatability, environmental, health, and safety constraints, including documentation and controls for long-term sustainability.
  • Ability to become a subject matter expert for an assigned system or process.
  • Ability to coach and mentor site support functions within assigned areas of expertise.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to lead projects involving cross-functional team members.
  • Ability to learn and use Visio, Excel, Power BI, and other applicable Excellerate software programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and organizational skills.

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to represent Excellerate professionally.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information.

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM, with work potentially required at any time to meet business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier programs for manufacturing, packaging, and other operational processes while ensuring quality programs comply with customer and Excellerate requirements.
  • Manage, maintain, and improve the Supplier Quality Manual and applicable Excellerate supplier documentation as the supplier-activities subject matter expert.
  • Provide leadership and management for supplier-related issues, ensuring proper organizational communication and associated activities.
  • Establish and drive supplier quality performance through supplier scorecard metrics in collaboration with Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Manage the Part Production Approval Process for all new suppliers.
  • Monitor and drive supplier corrective action and improvement for nonconformances, customer feedback, and repeated process issues through the Supplier Corrective Action Response process.
  • Ensure suppliers understand and meet customer and Excellerate requirements throughout the product lifecycle and communicate changes to suppliers promptly.
  • Participate in supplier approval by visiting potential suppliers, conducting supplier assessments, and performing For Cause audits according to Excellerate procedures.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for supplier quality meetings, feedback, concerns, specification inquiries, and requested supplier audits.
  • Engage team members and subject matter experts to address supplier-quality process concerns.
  • Assist with the deviation process to communicate supplier changes or concerns to customers when required.
  • Lead the Supplier Corrective Action Response process in response to customer requests, including responding to complaints and inquiries in the customer system.
  • Maintain supplier quality records and build supplier relationships.
  • Participate in Quality Planning, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plan, and other new-production-introduction activities.
  • Guide and assist with disposition decisions for Non-Conforming Material.
  • Promote Excellerate initiatives to improve quality.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Five years of related industry experience is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in a business or engineering discipline is preferred.
