Requirements
  • Experience installing and servicing access control, closed-circuit television, and intrusion alarm systems in commercial environments.
  • Ability to read blueprints and site maps.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with smartphones, computers, email, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
  • Possession of basic low-voltage and telecommunications tools and personal protective equipment.
  • Possession of reliable transportation during the initial training period.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, with no driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated conviction in the last three years.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75–100%, and work flexible shifts including overnight travel.
  • Willingness to attend a mandatory one-week, in-person technician orientation in Lowell, Arkansas upon hire.
Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair access control, closed-circuit television, and intrusion alarm systems.
  • Run low-voltage and composite cables in commercial buildings, including conduit work and concrete drilling.
  • Cut in door strikes and magnetic locks as needed.
  • Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet customer satisfaction and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with installation team leads or project managers to manage schedules and equipment delivery.
  • Conduct system tests and troubleshoot to ensure full functionality and compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
  • Provide technical escalation support both on-site and remotely.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with fire alarm systems.
  • Experience with voice and data cabling.
