Halliburton Q3 preview: $5.6B revenue expected, but earnings beat looks uncertain

Halliburton will report third-quarter 2026 results on October 20. The Zacks Consensus Estimate is a profit of 58 cents per share on revenue of $5.6 billion, which is 0.1% lower than a year earlier. The Houston-based oilfield services firm beat estimates in each of the last four quarters. In the second quarter, it earned an adjusted 55 cents per share on revenue of $5.7 billion, helped by strong international operations. Higher fracturing demand, better pricing and software sales likely helped the quarter. Middle East disruption, a $45 million SAP migration cost and about $5 million in higher interest expense may have weighed on earnings. Zacks does not predict a clear beat. Halliburton's Earnings ESP is -0.38%, and it holds a Zacks Rank #3.
