Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required in a flying squadron, training office, Host Aviation Resource Management, Squadron Aviation Resource Management, aviation resource management, or a comparable aviation operations support environment.
  • Experience using Graduate Training Integration Management System, Aviation Resource Management System, or equivalent training and readiness systems is required.
  • Experience maintaining gradebooks, records, training status, or readiness reporting is required.
  • Ability to manage recurring reports and suspense-driven requirements is required.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with squadron leadership, scheduling, and external agencies is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a database-driven reporting tool is required.
Responsibilities
  • Update data in Graduate Training Integration Management System or future equivalent systems and locally developed computer database systems as required.
  • Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management and Squadron Aviation Resource Management personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System or future equivalent systems as required.
  • Build, review, and update student and permanent-party records, folders, and gradebooks in accordance with applicable Air Force Instructions, associated Major Command installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
  • Coordinate class and exam schedules with scheduling and external agencies to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for required training, including Crew Resource Management, Instructor Crew Resource Management, Instrument Refresher Course, grounding training, and pre-deployment training.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly individual gradebook checks of squadron personnel training and ancillary training requirements.
  • Coordinate with the scheduling office, in coordination with the Squadron Director of Operations Flight Chief, to maximize training opportunities in accordance with unit leadership guidance and Air Force Instructions.
  • Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor and weekly summaries for the Operations Officer.
  • Assist in developing new curricula and syllabi for aircrew and ground training under the guidance of the Squadron Director of Operations Flight Chief.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly inputs to Operations Support Training.
  • Generate Air Force Form 2096, Classification/On-the-Job Training Action.
  • Generate monthly and semi-annual Non-Mission Ready letters for members placed in Non-Mission Ready status in accordance with applicable Air Force Instructions.
  • Prepare monthly Squadron Training Review Panel briefings for squadron leadership, including training recommendations and member training status.
  • Prepare the six-month training plan brief in accordance with applicable Air Force Instructions, Major Command supplements, and local policy and procedures.
  • Prepare the monthly aircrew probation and regression report in accordance with applicable Air Force Instructions, Major Command supplements, and local policy and procedures.
  • Prepare the semi-annual proration consideration report as designated.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate’s degree is preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, training, education, business, or a related field.
