Requirements
  • A master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • A master's degree in a non-technical field may be substituted with 10 or more years of ORSA-related experience in military or government civilian work.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field with an additional five years of ORSA-related experience, totaling 10 years, may also be considered.
  • Proficiency in statistics, data analysis techniques, computer analysis tools, basic modeling and simulation applications, and human factors analysis.
Responsibilities
  • Support programmatic evaluation and analysis of Combatant Command Test Nominations and subsequent approved execution as a member of the Joint Test & Evaluation Support Cell.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support Joint Test & Evaluation projects and enhance operational decision-making.
  • Apply statistical methods, modeling and simulation techniques, and operations research methodologies to assess joint military operations and improve mission effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize military operations, force readiness, and strategic planning.
  • Use computer-based analytical tools to evaluate operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify risks, limitations, and operational challenges in joint military environments and recommend analytical solutions.
  • Apply process modeling and analytical techniques to identify operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct problem decomposition, concept development, and data-driven analysis to support joint military operations.
  • Provide parametric and non-parametric statistics, data analysis techniques, computer analysis tools, basic modeling and simulation applications, and survey test and evaluation methods.
