Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Undertake technical project work and business responsibilities involving team leadership and business development.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, deliver projects, and develop and maintain international client, supply-chain, and internal relationships.
  • Serve as a program manager, project manager, or technical lead on major hydropower projects and programs, directing multidisciplinary teams and focusing on client communication and delivery.
  • Lead pursuits and major proposals for hydropower projects and engage with clients.
  • Support senior leaders in developing hydropower business strategies based on market trends and identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Lead client-facing activities, develop business with existing clients, win work with new clients, and build relationships with clients, teaming partners, industry groups, and stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies and capture plans for major pursuits aligned with business-development strategies and technical capabilities.
  • Maintain regular client interaction to ensure satisfaction and work with project-delivery personnel to address feedback on team performance.
  • Coordinate with Technical Practice Leads to match team skills with market trends and drive strategic technical leadership hires.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design of hydropower energy infrastructure.
  • Respond to technical queries.
  • Act as lead verifier on technical feasibility studies and design reports, depending on the core engineering discipline.
  • Direct less senior staff and mentor junior engineers.
