Requirements
  • One year of experience in MIG welding is preferred, or successful completion of a certified welding school.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
  • Ability to periodically lift items weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to identify materials by size and use basic measuring devices such as a measuring tape and square.
  • Welds and assemblies must conform to internal and external welding specifications.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to follow established safety practices, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands to handle objects or controls, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment and wear required personal protective equipment, including eye protection and protective clothing.
Responsibilities
  • Weld aluminum and steel components using MIG welding equipment.
  • Perform MIG welding and final assembly of aluminum components.
  • Select and set up fixtures.
  • Interpret assembly drawings.
  • Fit, align, and inspect assembled parts.
  • Clean and repair welds as needed.
  • Ensure work is performed safely and products conform to quality standards.
  • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Winholt updates sales leadership team. Mike Carlson will step into the role of VP of sales following Mike Chick's departure. August 21, 2026 Winholt, a manufacturer and supplier of foodservice and material handling solutions, has announced several updates to its sales leadership team. Mike Carlson will return to the company as vice president of sales, effective August 31. He succeeds Mike Chick, who will depart to pursue a new professional opportunity. Carlson brings extensive industry knowledge, proven leadership experience, and a deep understanding of Winholt's customers and business operations to the role. Meanwhile, Winholt has hired Michael Kudelka as Eastern regional sales manager-foodservice and Alicia Bowen as Central regional sales manager-foodservice. These additions will enhance regional support, strengthen customer relationships and expand sales coverage across key markets. "We are excited to welcome Mike Carlson back to Winholt and to add Michael Kudelka and Alicia Bowen to our growing sales organization," says Dominick Scarfogliero, president and CEO, in the release.
