About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, data correlation, or similar work.
  • Comfortably write SQL, including joins, aggregations, and window functions, and read and debug queries written by others.
  • Know semantic layers and data structures and work through problems independently.
  • Have hands-on experience with AI tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Claude, or Codex, and understand how they interpret structured data and prompts.
  • Have working knowledge of semantic data modeling, including ontologies, taxonomies, knowledge graphs, or similar approaches, and how it supports AI querying.
  • Identify when AI answers do not match source data and investigate the cause.
  • Have experience translating complex data relationships into clear requirements in collaboration with Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering.
  • Have strong writing and speaking skills to explain complex data and AI concepts to business owners in actionable terms.
  • Have experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.

Responsibilities

  • Review and improve business users' prompts with Snowflake Cortex, Claude, Codex, and similar tools so questions are interpreted correctly against the semantic layer.
  • Validate user queries and Prism answers against source data, then certify the results for business use.
  • Monitor user questions and answers and flag recurring errors, gaps, or misinterpretations for correction.
  • Work with Data Science and Engineering to improve semantic layers built on raw SQL tables, including taxonomies, metadata, and labeling.
  • Analyze relationships among pricing, rebates, chargebacks, and other data, and use findings to shape how Prism represents the data.
  • Discuss business owners' information needs and translate those discussions into improved prompts, queries, and data structures.
  • Write technical requirements for model tuning, data restructuring, or product improvements based on analysis and review findings.
  • Document data sources, underlying business logic, and relationships so users can understand and trust Prism's answers.
  • Advocate for data quality during Prism planning so roadmap priorities reflect the data.
  • Set up answer-accuracy test cases with QA each sprint and help prepare release notes, briefings, and presentations explaining Prism.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in pharma or with contracts and pricing.
  • A 4-year degree in a related field.
