- Licensed as a registered nurse in good standing without limitations in the State of Georgia.
- Hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Have visual color acuity when required for the specific unit.
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
- Preferred: Two years of experience as a registered professional nurse.
- Preferred: Additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
