About the job
- ITI qualification in Electrical.
- Four to six years of work experience.
- Ability to review and troubleshoot single-line diagrams, power and control circuit diagrams, and PCC, MCC, LDB, and WDB circuit diagrams.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot direct-on-line, star-delta, soft starter, and variable frequency drive systems.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot lighting and earthing systems.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of fire alarm systems.
- Ability to maintain air-conditioning systems, uninterruptible power supplies, diesel generator sets, two-pole/four-pole structures, vacuum circuit breakers, air circuit breakers, and transformers.
- Follow, respect, and establish environmental, health, and safety guidelines and protocols in the workplace.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of all machines according to schedule.
- Ensure equipment availability for production.
- Follow standard operating procedures and hazard identification and risk assessment requirements during maintenance jobs at the site.
- Complete proper housekeeping after job completion.
- Ensure the work permit system is followed for all jobs.
- Provide correct spare-part specifications when submitting requirements.
- Complete proper documentation after job completion.
- Communicate abnormalities to the reporting manager.
- Manage the general store.
- Maintain history cards for electrical equipment.
- Maintain electrical consumption reports and daily production reports.
- Work experience in refractory industries, specifically with crushers, presses, kilns, ovens, or similar equipment.
- Wiremen-B license.
