About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of construction project management experience, including at least 3 years delivering data centers or comparable mission-critical or critical-environment facilities such as hospitals, semiconductor fabs, pharmaceutical facilities, or large-scale industrial facilities.
  • Direct working knowledge of data center mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including power distribution, N+1 and 2N redundancy topologies, uninterruptible power supplies, generators, and air and liquid cooling.
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and Uptime Institute Tier standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multimillion-dollar budgets and complex, schedule-driven projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong command of project controls, scheduling software such as P6 or Microsoft Project, and construction management platforms such as Procore or similar.
  • Ability to manage contractors and vendors, hold teams accountable, and maintain productive relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.
  • Willingness to travel to and work on-site at project locations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data center construction projects, owning cost, schedule, scope, quality, and safety from site-selection support and preconstruction through Level 5 commissioning and operational handover.
  • Manage general contractors, architects, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, and specialty subcontractors, holding the project team accountable to contractual milestones and design intent.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including utility power and substations, switchgear, uninterruptible power supplies, generators, and air- and liquid-cooling infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, identify critical-path risks early, and implement recovery plans to protect on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, change orders, contingency, and forecasting; review pay applications and validate work in place.
  • Own the commissioning process in partnership with the commissioning authority, ensuring scripts, commissioning levels L1–L5, and acceptance criteria are met before energization and operational turnover.
  • Enforce safety practices for work in and around energized electrical environments and live critical facilities.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on schedule, budget, risk, and key decisions.
  • Manage long-lead equipment procurement and vendor coordination, mitigating supply-chain risks for generators, switchgear, chillers, and cooling units.
  • Support site-selection due diligence, including utility power availability, fiber, water, and constructability factors.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects for hyperscale or colocation clients.
  • Exposure to liquid-cooling deployments and high-density rack environments.
  • PMP, CCM, or relevant OSHA certifications.
  • Experience managing projects in greenfield or speculative-build environments.

About the Company

Nebius

Runs GPU clouds for AI training and deployment

Nebius runs an AI cloud for developers, researchers, and enterprises that train models and put them into production. Its AI Cloud combines GPU computing, storage, networking, and managed services, while Token Factory runs models through an API so teams do not manage the underlying servers. Customers rent computing and storage at usage rates or reserve capacity, choosing resources that fit short experiments or sustained production workloads. Beyond the cloud, the group owns Avride, which develops autonomous vehicles and delivery robots, and TripleTen, which teaches technical skills for people changing careers. The publicly listed group is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
