What believers are saying

  • Warp closed a $60 million Series B on June 25, 2026, led by Battery Ventures.
  • Warp says ARR doubled in Q1 2026 and payroll volume is headed past $2 billion.
  • Warp expanded headcount from 15 to 50 and plans 200 hires, signaling aggressive demand.

What critics are saying

  • Rippling and ADP already own enterprise payroll; Warp still needs durable category proof.
  • Warp only launched in 2023, so a single product failure can quickly damage trust.
  • If tax notices or payroll errors scale, customer churn hits payroll vendors immediately.

  • Warp unifies payroll, compliance, benefits, HR, and IT for 1,000+ companies.
  • Warp's 2026 branding centers on self-driving payroll, positioning it against Rippling and ADP.
