Responsibilities
  • Autonomously evaluate client performance metrics and market dynamics to formulate tailored business recommendations and strategic growth plans for account leadership.
  • Consult clients on optimizing marketing spend, platform usage, and business strategies based on high-level market insights, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio strategically to drive expansion and proactively identify and resolve account churn risks through tailored retention strategies.
  • Prepare and lead strategic business reviews and executive presentations to influence client decision-makers and align product capabilities with client business goals.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to identify enterprise expansion paths, analyze client operational feedback, and recommend strategic process and product enhancements to leadership.
  • Oversee account hygiene and administrative workflows, exercising judgment to manage escalations involving client billing, contract statuses, and account health.

Today, the two brands are announcing a year-round lineup of artist-driven experiences, starting September 10 in Brooklyn with the Kickback New York Lit by Rolling Loud festival. I got an exclusive first look at the partnership, and it's a useful playbook for how cannabis brands can market when traditional advertising channels-from mainstream television ads to billboards-are closed to them. For most industries, that would be a death sentence. Jonathan "JJ" Jones, SVP of markets and culture at Weedmaps, sees it differently. "Restrictions are certainly part of operating in cannabis, but we don't look at experiences simply as a workaround," he told me. "When you're operating in a regulated industry, you're forced to be more thoughtful about how you connect with people, and that can actually make you a better marketer. WM Technology reports Q2 revenue of $42.4M as cannabis industry faces regulatory and economic pressures

WM Technology, a cannabis industry marketplace and technology solutions provider, reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $42.4 million, down from $44.8 million in the prior year period. The company attributed the decline to challenging operating conditions for customers facing margin compression and cash flow constraints. Net income rose to $2.9 million from $2.2 million year-over-year, whilst adjusted EBITDA fell to $5.0 million from $11.7 million. The company maintained consecutive quarters of adjusted EBITDA profitability. Average monthly paying clients decreased to 5,040 from 5,241, driven by churn in established markets. Average monthly revenue per paying client slipped to $2,807 from $2,852. Cash increased to $60.5 million as of 30 June 2026, up from $59.0 million the previous year.

The company beat its own guidance despite continued softness in core markets. Average monthly paying clients declined to 4,983 from 5,179 year-over-year, primarily due to churn in established markets. However, average monthly revenue per paying client increased to $2,914 from $2,871. Net income fell to $1.7 million from $2.5 million, whilst adjusted EBITDA decreased to $5.9 million from $10.1 million. Cash and marketable securities rose to $57.0 million from $53.3 million year-over-year. The company expects second quarter 2026 revenue to decline by low-single digit percentages sequentially.

WM Technology revenue falls to $175M as cannabis industry consolidation pressures ad spending

WM Technology reported full-year 2025 revenue of $175 million, down from $185 million in 2024, as cannabis industry headwinds pressured client marketing budgets. The company generated $40 million in adjusted EBITDA and ended the year with $62 million in cash, nearly 20% higher than 2024. CEO Doug Francis told investors on the 12 March earnings call that Weedmaps faced "significant structural headwinds" including pricing compression, illicit-market competition and high excise taxes. Fourth-quarter revenue totalled $43 million, down year-over-year but at the top end of guidance. Management cited ongoing consolidation amongst multi-state operators and California retailers as creating challenges, including fewer platform advertisers and narrower product assortment. The company is responding by enhancing offerings and deepening relationships with large clients.

Full-year revenue declined to $174.7 million from $184.5 million, driven by pricing pressure and constrained marketing budgets in core markets. Average monthly paying clients increased slightly to 5,190 for the full year from 5,077, but average monthly revenue per client fell to $2,805 from $3,029. The company reported net income of $3.3 million for 2025, down from $12.2 million previously, whilst adjusted EBITDA declined to $39.8 million from $42.9 million. Cash increased to $62.4 million from $52.0 million. The company expects first quarter 2026 revenue to decline by mid- to high-single digit percentages sequentially.
