Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in business applications management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with low/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Mendix, OutSystems) and a demonstrated ability to drive citizen development initiatives.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise-level applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) and familiarity with cloud-based solutions and SaaS platforms.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful teams, with strong skills in coaching, mentorship, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Professional experience with AI and/or Machine Learning is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the business applications strategy to align with organizational goals and objectives, prioritizing investments in technology that drive business value and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of business applications, including ERP, CRM, low/no-code platforms, and other enterprise systems.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and adoption of low/no-code platforms to empower business units to create custom applications, streamline processes, and accelerate solution delivery.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of application developers, administrators, analysts, and project managers; foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with software vendors and third-party service providers; manage vendor relationships, contracts, and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from ideation to deployment; ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired specifications.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency within business units.
  • Ensure that all applications are compliant with company security policies and data governance standards.
  • Develop and manage the budget for business applications; ensure spending aligns with department and organizational financial goals.
